Volunteers work inside the Bucksport Paper Mill Museum building.

Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help with restoration, ideas and fundraising. We will also will need volunteers to staff the museum in 2026.

Donations from groups and individuals and “in honor” and “memory of” are most welcome and should be sent to Bucksport Historical Society, P.O. Box 798, Bucksport, ME 04416 (Write Gatehouse Fund on the memo line of your check). The society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donors will receive personalized keepsake certificates honoring their part and their names will be displayed into the future.
