Historical Society honored at Town Council meeting

The Bucksport Town Council honored the 60th anniversary of the Bucksport Historical Society at a meeting on August 8, 2024. Bucksport Mayor, Paul Bissonnette, presented a Certificate of Recognition for the anniversary to Gary Bagley, Vice President of the society.

Also at the meeting, Mount Desert Island artist Ben Lincoln donating his drawing showing the early stages of the demolition of the Bucksport Paper Mill. You can read more about that here.
