I grew up in Bucksport and I am a 2001 graduate of Bucksport High School. My father and grandfather both worked at the mill, as well as many other family members and friends. I worked at the mill for four summers after high school, as a tour guide the first summer and then mostly in the management and human resources departments after that. I graduated in 2005 from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a degree in Art Education. I began my career as an art teacher, and then shifted to working as a graphic designer and marketing professional. Currently I am the Marketing Manager for S.W. Cole Engineering in Hermon, Maine.

I joined the Bucksport Paper Mill Museum working group in the summer of 2022. I am helping the group with communications, such as press releases and our website, and I will also be helping to design exhibit graphics and signage.

I have previously served on the board of directors for the Blue Hill Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and designed their current logo. I have designed logos and other graphics for other local businesses and community organizations. I also designed and illustrated a Maine-themed coloring book.
