Ray Seamans is the founder of the mill museum collection. From the day he presented a pickup full of rescued and indexed artifacts to the STILL MILL Project, along with the key to a Wardwell WeStore unit that he had obtained the donation of, the Bucksport Paper Mill Museum, established in intention the day after the mill closed – December 18, 2014 – began taking physical shape, had an identity and address.  Drawing from the Seamans' Collection, Museum Consultant Julia Gray curated the first exhibit at the Alamo Theatre in Bucksport on the observance of the fifth anniversary of the mill's closing, July 21, 2019.
