Bucksport Paper Mill Museum to hold event to honor the 10th anniversary of the closing of the mill

The Bucksport Paper Mill Museum will hold an open house event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the mill’s closing on December 17, 3-6PM, at the former mill gatehouse building at 4 Mariner Way. 

This event will offer an opportunity for people to visit, reminisce and see the progress that has been made in renovating the building. Hot chocolate will be served and visitors can view a slideshow of images showing scenes from the museum’s evolution so far and the people who have been a part of it.

The museum will also be open to the public during the Bucksport Parade of Lights on December 14 at 6PM.
