Silvernail’s Foundation Supports The Bucksport Mill Museum

The Silvernail Foundation is pleased to announce a $25,000 donation to help establish the Bucksport Mill Museum. 

“Our family is delighted to help celebrate the rich history of the Bucksport Mill. Shelby and I grew up in Bucksport and were blessed by the people and the prosperity that the mill enabled for generations,” said Andy Silvernail, Chairman and CEO of International Paper, the world leader in sustainable packaging. 

Shelby Silvernail, who worked three years as a college intern at the mill, added, “my Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather earned a proud living at the mill, bringing home values of hard work, integrity, and a job well done. The mill shaped our lives in countless ways.”

The Silvernail Foundation was established by Shelby, Andy, Koster, Spencer, and Alyssa Silvernail to help young people achieve their dreams through education and emotional wellbeing.
