A volunteer crew continues to meet every Tuesday morning to work on the museum building, under the direction of Restoration Foreman Chip Stubbs.

The volunteers joining Chip on Tuesday, September 24 included Larry Wahl, Arline Smart Lamarche, Herb Gilley, Rick Gilley, Ed Ranzoni, and Leo Grunwald. It was a successful work day with metal studs being removed and a cinder block wall being demolished and removed from the site.

On October 1, Chip, Leo, Ed, Rick and Herb put up 72 pieces of strapping over the metal studs to attach V-match to. They took another wall down to just metal studs and cleaned up. A few visitors stopped by to see the work being done and drop off donations of artifacts or financial donations.

Work will continue every Tuesday morning in October from 8am to noon. Find out more about joining the effort here. Chip is happy to give tours by appointment. You can contact him at chip9516@gmail.com.
